FUN FOR CHARMS, 'CHOTCKIES' OR WHATEVER DANGLE YOU CHOOSE

My most visited post from last November
Time to show it again ;o) enjoy!
I will be posting a new snowflake pattern next week...if you like this one, just make a
comment below that you are interested.
I have used all size 11's for the photos, however change up the look of these little snowflakes by using size 8's, 3mm or 4mm crystals, or make teeny ones with size 15's.  This is a very very basic one which can be made more complicated as you learn the basic technique.  Have Fun and enjoy!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!! Put these little 'chotchkies' on all your holiday bracelets and necklaces as little 'signature' pieces that say "I made this" Merry Christmas and Enjoy!Step 1. Tie 6 white size 11 seed beads in a circle.
_
Step 2. (See photo) Coming out of the first seed on the circle, Add a size 11 and circle around the bead you are coming out of and into the next seed on the circle. Do this all around. You will have a seed stacked on top of all of the original seed beads in the circle.
Step 2 after adding the seed to the top of each bead in the circle
_
Step 3. (See photo) Work your thread up to the top seed and put on three size 11 seed beads and circle around this one bead. Once out of that bead, pick up one size 11 seed and go into the next 'tip' and repeat this process by making little 'picots' around each of these tips, until you have done all 6 of the 'spokes' of the snowflake. Work your thread into your work, do a half hitch knot around a thread between beads, and cut off. If you want, put on a circle of 5 seed beads to make a hanger for a bracelet charm! Voila! It's Snowing!!!
Step 3 First picot made ready for the size 11 and next picot
